Top Ten Tuesday: Authors I Would Love to Meet | LibroLiv

Happy Tuesday, everybody! You know what time it is…

“Top Ten Tuesday” is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s prompt is:

Top Ten Authors I’m Dying To Meet

Now, I’m going to be a little cheater, and include both authors around today, and those that have passed. So, without further ado, here are all the authors I would love to meet:

Maggie Stiefvater

The Raven Cycle became my favourite series of all time after the first chapter. I’d love to meet the woman capable of compelling me so much.

Cassandra Clare

I’ve never been so attatched and invested in a world as I am with the Shadowhunters universe. Lord of Shadows is coming out later this year and I am hyped.

Lord Byron

I’m currently really interested in the Romantics, and I love researching into their lives and their work. Byron’s life in particular really interests me.

Jane Austen

Though I’ve only read 2 of her novels so far, I would love to meet Jane Austen. Her wit transcends time.

Paul Kalanthi

When Breath Becomes Air changed both myself and my outlook on life. Paul Kalanthi will forever be an idol to me.

Tahereh Mafi

Not only for her work but for her feminism, her political presence, her inspirational voice, and her iconic fashion sense. Also, imagine a writing workshop lead by Tahereh Mafi.

Rainbow Rowell

Rainbow Rowell inspires me to become a writer, her novels being the kind I would one day love to write. Hence, obviously, I would love to meet her. I would also love to talk to her about her characters.

Stephen Chbosky

The Perks of Being a Wallflower changed my life, both the book and the movie, and he wrote both.

William Shakespeare

I mean, who wouldn’t be at least a little bit interested in what Shakespeare had to say.

Connor Franta

This is a little bit of a cheat, because his is not only one of my favourite autobiographies, but also YouTube channel. Connor Franta inspires me every single day.
