Bookish Playlists: Carry On by Rainbow Rowell | LibroLiv

Bookspiration fills my mind 24/7. I’m always thinking about ways book events can be depicted in another format – artwork, movement, music. Whether I was listening to this song whilst reading a book, or the song – for some unknown reason – reminds me of the book, I have a habit of creating bookish playlists in my mind. Today, however, I wanted to share one of my favourites:

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell – A Playlist Inspired by the Book

The majority of these songs have come from me, and my feelings towards the book. A few, however, are from Rainbow Rowell’s personal playlist (click here and here) concerning Carry On. Whilst not all of her choices suited me, and my journey with Carry On, some of them definitely did.

  2. A Change of Heart – The 1975
  3. Outer Space/Carry On – 5 Seconds of Summer
  4. Carry On – fun.
  5. Let’s Get Lost – Beck & Bat For Lashes
  6. Young Lion – Vampire Weekend
  7. Rebel Prince – Rufus Wainwright
  8. Bloodsport – Raleigh Ritchie
  9. Save a Prayer – Duran Duran
  10. Everlasting Arms – Vampire Weekend
  11. Eyes Off You – Bombay Bicycle Club
  12. I Miss You – blink-182

I have linked to all of the songs mentioned where possible.
