Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!

I have the lovely Susanne to thank for this award – you can find her by clicking here. Susanne is one of my favourite bloggers, and I highly recommend you check out her blog!

The rules are as follows:sisterhood-of-the-world-bloggers-tag-image-014

  1. Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their site.
  2. Put the award logo on your blog.
  3. Answer the ten questions you were given.
  4. Make up ten new questions for your nominees to answer.
  5. Nominate ten other blogs.

Here are my answers to Susanne’s questions:

1. Do you have a TV series addiction and what is it?

Most of the time, I’ll be mid-way through a TV series. I tend to watch one episode per night (usually before night-time reading) so as to not overload myself with it – if I watch to many episodes at once, I get bored very quickly. Shows in the past have been Glee, American Horror Story, Gossip Girl, Teen Wolf, That 70s Show, and Melissa and Joey, however, I am currently watching Game of Thrones and loving it! (I’m only on season 3, so no spoilers please!)

2. Which book character would you secretly like to marry?

Well, it’s no secret, but I would love to marry Étienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I feel as though he’s a true gentleman, and I would love to meet a guy like him. Also, he’s French! (I’m not fussed about the British part because, well, I’m British, too.) Failing this, William Herondale from The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare can have my heart! Actually, Jace Herondale, too. Actually, any Herondale! Cassandra Clare, what have you done to me?!

3. What’s the most exciting thing happening to you this September?

Going back to school, duh. Unluckily for me, my calendar is 100% empty for September. Sigh.

4. Are you a Christmas freak or a Scrooge?

I’m definitely not a Scrooge, but I wouldn’t exactly call my self a Christmas freak, either. I enjoy Christmas, but, in my opinion, it’s just another day! Granted, a day filled with presents and turkey and joy, but, I don’t know, I’m not obsessed with it. I love the time period, though – the best clothes come out in winter!

5. Which book world do you really wish existed?

I was all prepped and ready to say the Shadowhunter world, but then it hit me: I wouldn’t want to live in a world with demons, no matter how awesome Shadowhunters are! Thus, I decided on the ‘contemporary’ world. Yes, I know, contemporary books are labelled that because they illustrate things that could happen, but seriously? When has your life ever felt like a contemporary novel? I want my Étienne St. Clair, my Cricket Bell, my Conrad and Jeremiah, my Park, my Pudge, my Charlie Kelmeckis – if they were real, the world would be beautiful!

6. Which book series has you wishing for more?

The Mortal Instruments! But, luckily, Cassandra Clare isn’t ready to give up on the Shadowhunter world just yet – The Dark Artifices is set for release in 2016 and The Last hours in 2017. Until then, I will enjoy reading about Simon in the Shadowhunter Academy. Frankly, I can’t get enough of these books, as you’ve probably already gathered…

7. Would you rather be a vampire or a wizard?

Oh – didn’t I tell you? I’m already a wizard.

…or am I?

8. Which magic power would you have?

The power to time travel – does that count? I’d love to be able to go back in time and visit different eras. Then again, I’d also love to go forwards in time, and see what the future’s like!

9. Happy ending or shocking twist?

As much as I love – and sometimes even crave – happy endings, shocking twists excite me! I practically live for plot twists, and, unlike most people, I love cliff hangers! I love having to make up my own interpretation of an ending, and then discussing what other people think!

10. What’s the first thing you’d do if the dead started rising?

Run? Scream? Blog about it? I’m unsure. If they were scary dead, I would probably barricade myself into my house and hide under the covers – as much as I love reading about heroes, I’m really not one! If they were nice dead, and just happened to be rising, no intentions of injuring people, I’d probably want to meet one, and ask what it’s like on the other side.

I nominate:

…And here are my questions for you:

1. What is the most popular book that you hate? Why do you hate it? Do you know anyone with the same opinion?
2. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
3. Reading or writing?
4. What are you currently reading? Are you enjoying it?
5. Play Kiss Marry Kill with the 3 main characters from the last book you read.
6. What book do you really wish was a movie/TV series?
7. Are you for or against eReaders?
8. Do you reread books? If so, which book would you like to reread next? If not, why not?
9. Can you remember the first book you ever read? What was it?
10. Name something you’re good at, and name something you wish you were better at. Why do you wish you were better at it?

If you don’t want to do this, feel free to ignore this post! If I haven’t tagged you, but still want to answer my questions, go for it! I’m really interested in how people will answer them.
As always, thank you for reading!

Haha! I just didn’t want to stereotype – not all zombies are mean! Look at Warm Bodies, for example! Also, someone should totally write a book about that!
